Johnnie Sue enjoys helping businesses get the most mileage from their adverting budget
Johnnie Sue grew up on a farm in Cocke County where she, her father, mother and sister tended several acres of tomatoes and tobacco. They also manned a beef cattle and dairy operation. Johnnie Sue still enjoys helping with the operation of the farm which now has about 100 head of cattle, three horses and a goat.
Johnnie Sue first began working with WNPC in 1979 as the station secretary. She continued as secretary and office manager for almost 20 years before taking a hiatus. She then returned in 2006 as a sales representative. Johnnie also helps out from time to time with office duties at the station.
Johnnie Sue is married to Jim Phillips (who also works at 93.2 WNPC) and has a niece, Paula, who is the apple of her eye
. She also has three wonderful step-children, two dogs and two cats. Johnnie Sue is proud to be a Christian and loves spending time with her family.
