Four males arrested at loud party with underaged females
Cocke County authorities report they were dispatched to a loud party on KOA Lane late Friday night, and ended up making four arrests. The occupants of the residence initially did not respond to a knock on the front door, but when the door was found to be open, officers entered according to Deputy Jonathan Ball. When an interior door was opened the odor of marijuana allegedly came from the room, and so all of the occupants were asked to exit. Upon further investigation, it was determined that no one in the home was over 21, however four males were aged 19. Those charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor are; Jonathan Lane, LCK Way, Cosby: Ethan Wyatt, North Street, Newport, Tyler Bryce Livesay, Charles Street, Newport and Corey Allen Black, Suncrest Way, Newport. Officer Ball said he and Deputy Max Laughter learned that Lane and Cobble had picked up multiple juvenile girls aged 12 to 16 and had brought them to the party where they were drinking alcohol and smoking marijuana. Black and Livesay allegedly provided the alcohol for the party. Both Cobble and Lane were allegedly intoxicated, and are charged additionally with underage consumption.
