Tippy Baily pleads to oxycodone sales
A Cocke County man earlier this week pleaded guilty to two counts of the sale of oxycodone in Cocke County Circuit Court. Tippy Lynn Bailey, 56, North Highway 321, Parrottsville, entered the plea before Judge Ben Hooper and he was given an eight year sentence. The plea agreement provided for the state to dismiss charges of DUI, open container, simple possession and light law violations. Although the court waived fines in the case, Bailey will pay restitution of $337.
