Arrest in theft of farm equipment
A Cosby woman faces charges and her boyfriend is being sought in connection with the recent theft of farm equipment from a Del Rio farm. Kami Webb, 21, Laurel Springs Road, was charged with theft over $1,000, on Wednesday by Cocke County Detective Jason Oury. Last week, Randall Frisbee reported that three plows, a disc, grader blade, hay speer and fork, field sprayer and farm trailer were missing from his farm on the Old 15th, Road. He reported the missing implements had a total value of $4,600. According to Detective Oury, the suspect and her boyfriend, Adam Lewellyn sold the items to a resident of Cosby. Lewellyn reportedly lives near Frisbee and is a relative of the victim. Some of the stolen items have been recovered, however Lewellyn has not been taken into custody.
