Barn destroyed by fire
Cocke County authorities Sunday morning responded to a structure fire on Good Hope Road in the Parrottsville community. Deputy Lt. Robert Thornton said when he arrived on the scene at 4:11 am, he found the barn fully engulfed in flames and it had fallen to the ground. He said the barn appeared to be abandoned and had no electricity running to it. The ownership of the barn and the value, have not been determined.
