Shelton reports robbery Cocke County authorities say there is a suspect in the reported robbery of a Newport man. Tommy Shelton, Crawley Drive, this week told Deputy Jonathan Ocks that he was given a ride by an acquaintance, Billy Frazier, no age or address given, about two weeks ago. But Shelton says he doesn't remember the date. And he doesn't remember the kind of vehicle or the identity of the third individual who was in the auto at the time of the incident. According to Shelton as the vehicle turned onto Greasy Cove Road, Frazier pulled a knife on him and demanded all of the $340 in cash that he had. Although Shelton did not know the last name of the robber at the time of the incident , he later learned that Frazier had bragged about "ripping him off." No arrest has been made in the incident.
