Frazier harged with aggravated robbery
A Greene County man has been charged with aggravated robbery in connection with the knife point robbery of a Cocke County man last month. David Wayne Frazier, 52, Elmer Hayes Road, Mosheim was arrested by Detective Bryan Murr last week. On August 25, Tommy Shelton, Crawley Drive, Newport, reported that he had earlier been given a ride by Frazier who pulled a knife on him and demanded his $340.00 in cash. Shelton said he didn't know Fraziers last name at the time of the incident but later learned he had bragged about "ripping off" the victim.
