Ethan Smith truck
A Greeneville man returned to the TWRA Highway 25E boat dock last Friday morning to find his truck and boat trailer were missing. Etahn Allen Smith, Longwood Road, told Cocke County Deputy Michael Shelton that he and his friends had been fishing and returned to the boat dock at 12:30 am, unable to find his 2003 Dodge 2500 pickup. "Ethan stated he looking in the water and seen the headlights of his truck in the lake," the officer said. The truck and trailer reportedly were about 25 yards from the boat ramp. After Hartford Towing pulled the truck from the water, Deputy Shelton says it was determined that the doors on the vehicle were locked but the truck was out of gear.
