West Virginia flooding assistance
The Grassy Fork Volunteer Fire Department has announced a drive to collect items for the victims of flooding in West Virginia. Fire Chief Walt Cross says plans are to take supplies to the flood area Sunday morning. He says officials have requested : New or USED 5 Gallon Buckets, Cleaning Supplies, Bug Spray, Dust Masks, Electric Fans and 55 Gallon Contractor Plastic Bags. Items will be accepted at Lowes in Newport) until 8 pm Saturday and the Grassy Fork's Fireworks Tent at Exit 447 on I-40 until midnight Saturday evening.
