Burglary suspects arrested
Cocke County Sheriif Armando Fontes announced Wednesday that two suspects in recent multi jurisdictional burglaries have been arrested. The sheriff described Brian Shifflet and Charles Lawson, JR.as "dangerous suspects." Shifflet was taken into custody by the Greenville police department on Tuesday and Charles Lawson was taken into custody on Wednesday in Knoxville after being spotted at the Salvation Army. Both suspects will be brought back to Cocke County to face a multitude of charges. The ages and addresses of the suspects have not been released. The sheriff expressed his appreciation to his detectives for "doing a great job, Greeneville police and the Greene County Sheriff's office, as well as the community for the tips which led to the capture of the suspects.
