Trouten arson arrest A Cocke County man has been charged with arson in connection with a fire which destroyed a Newport home in July, 2014. Cocke County Detective Bryan Murr arrested Ricky Lee Trouten, 28, Bonanza Drive, in connection with the blaze on Wayside Alley, in the home which was being renovated. Newport Fire Chief Randy Ragen at the time said the home was fully engulfed in flame when firefighters arrived just before 3 a.m.. It was the third time firefighters had battled flames in the home, and Chief Ragen said the frame residence was unoccupied, Paul and Kim Gregg owned the structure.
