Big Powerball winner in Tennessee
A lottery player in Tennessee has won a $420.9 million grand prize, according to the Tennessee Lottery. The winning ticket was sold in Lafayette, in Macon County, and matched all six Powerball numbers drawn Saturday night, according to the Tennessee Lottery. The ticket is also the 200th ticket sold by the Tennessee Lottery that was worth $1 million or more. The ticket holder has not been identified. The Tennessee Lottery advises the winner to sign the back of the ticket and keep it in a secure location. The winner has 180 days from the date of the drawing to claim the prize. The winning is the second largest prize for the Tennessee Lottery. The first was the $528.8 million prize won by a Tipton County family in January.
