Domestic disturbance leads to meth charges
Cocke County authorities responding to a domestic disturbance Saturday morning, were told that several residents of a home on Garden Drive in Newport, were in possession of drugs and paraphernalia, including methamphetamine. Deputy Max Laughter said a quantity of methamphetamine, nine pipes, a quantity of needles and syringes, scales, and other paraphernalia were seized. As a result four persons were arrested. Jackie Wayne Wilson, 37, Garden Drive, is charged with possession of methamphetamine with the intent to resale, possession of drug paraphernalia, two counts violation of the community corrections restrictions and failure to appear in court. Jimmy Lynn Caro, 41, Old Sevierville Highway, Newport, who was found hiding in a closet, is charged with possession of methamphetamine for resale, possession of drug paraphernalia, two counts violation of probation and failure to appear. Another resident of the home, Jennifer Lynn Hurst, 23, was wanted for violation of probation. Jesse Worthington, 25, another resident of the home, was arrested on a parole violation
