Johnson-Phillips plea to aggravated robbery A Greene County woman this week entered a guilty plea in Jefferson County Criminal Court, to an aggravated robbery charge. Megan Laura Johnson-Phillips, 27, E. Church Street, Greeneville robbed the Advance Auto store in Jefferson City on April 7, 2016. The defendant produced a BB pistol which authorities said looked very similar to an actual firearm, and then fled with about $548.50 in cash. About 20 minutes after the holdup, Morristown police stopped Johnson-Phillips, took her into custody, and confiscated the pistol and the cash. Judge Duane Slone ordered the defendant to serve an eight year sentence, however she will be eligible for parole after 85 percent of the term has been served. As part of the negotiated plea, the defendant agreed to make restitution of the cash and also is banned from Advance Auto stores in the future.
