Jones/Lane arrest
Two area men faces charges after they were allegedly observed Friday afternoon, involved in a drug deal. Cocke County Narcotics Agent Danny Hartsell said the men were observed in the Five Rivers Plaza Shopping Center. John Scott Jones, 44, Potts Road, Dandridge and Christopher Lane, 47, Willow Creek Lane, Sevierville, allegedly were in possession of Oxycodone and Oxymorphone. Several bottles of pills were seized which had just been filled but which contained few pills. Both men are charged with possession of schedule II controlled substances for resale and Lane also is charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.
