Underwood couple is injured
A truck/motorcycle crash on West Highway 25/70 at the Old Huff Hollow Road intersection in Cocke County on Saturday, injured both riders of the cycle. Lt. Richard Garrison of the Tennessee Highway Patrol said Uless Conard, 44, Del Rio was eastbound when a 2002 Harley Davidson, operated by Ricky Underwood, 51, Jefferson City, attempted to pass the 2007 Ford rollback wrecker. At the same time, Conard attempted a left turn onto Old Huff Hollow Road and the vehicles made contact in the westbound lane. Underwood and his passenger, Teresa Underwood, 46, both were transported to the UT Medical Center in Knoxville for treatment. Conard was not injured.
