Men charged with jail contrband
Two men were jailed Saturday after they allegedly attempted to introduce drugs into the Cocke County jail. Corrections Officer Ethan Keys said Terry Eugene Summer, 61, Ivey Way, Dandridge and Stanley Lee Cutshall,52, Rhea Street, Newport tried to slip envelopes under the main gate of the Old Jail, to female inmates. Summer's four envelopes contained marijuana cigarettes and Dizepam allegedly intended for inmate Tammy Price. He is charged with Possession of Schedule IV and VI Controlled substances. Cutshall's envelope contained marijuana and Nuerotin, and so he is charged with possession of those substances. The contraband allegedly was intended for Helen King.
