Cocke County Farm to Table is a success
The inaugural Cocke County Farm to Table event was enjoyed by sixty people Sunday afternoon, on The lawn of the Cocke County Courthouse. It was sponsored by a number of community groups. The brainchild behind the event was Lynn Ramsey of the Cocke County Partnership Chamber of Commerce, who said the event was totally local. "All of the food was local and we had local restaurants prepare the meal. In that way local farmers and restaurants benefitted from the event," explained Ramsey.
