Stephens sought on charges stemming from shooting
Cocke County authorities are looking for a suspect in a Monday morning shooting incident on Old Highway 32 in front of Circle Road. Erica and Brandon Earls, told Cocke County Deputy Aaron Loveday that Randall Stephens, 33, Cheyenne Circle, Cosby, came out of a wooded area and began shooting at Brandon Robert Earls and Erica Valentine, both teenagers. Investigators allege that Stephens fired four shots from a 9mm handgun at the couple as they fled the scene at 1:35 am. Detective C.J. Ball said he has obtained warrants charging Stephens with two counts of Aggravated Assault and being a felon in possession of a firearm.
