Johnson Street drug bust
Cocke County authorities have released additional details regarding a Sunday arrest of three persons on Johnson Street in the Carson Springs community. LT. Chris Gregg, Deputy Wes Keys, Deputy Jonathan Ochs and Sergeant Max Laughter went to the location to serve a warrant on Warren 'Sunshine' Williams, 50, Sundance Way, Cosby who was wanted on a probation violation. He and Stephanie Huff, 33, Rainbow Way, Cosby were found in an outbuilding. Huff was wanted on two counts of failure to appear for a court hearing. The officers confiscated 3.1 grams of crack cocaine, .7 grams of methamphetamine and multiple drug paraphernalia items including needles, scales and pipes, according to Sheriff Armando Fontes. They arrested Williams and charged him additionally with possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. Huff was also charged with possession of suspected Gabapentine. A third individual, Joyce Rochelle Ball, 46, the resident of the home, was found hiding in a utility room connected to the carport. She was allegedly in possession of crack cocaine, $1,382 in cash and multiple other pills were discovered as well. Ball told Lt. Gregg she has no job or "real source of income".
