Potts is being sought Cocke County authorities are looking for a woman who allegedly delivered contraband to a Cocke County jail inmate earlier this week. Deputy Sgt. Max laughter said Melissa Ann Potts, 47, Stoneview Way, Cosby, brought toothpaste to inmate Richard Raines earlier this week. Corrections officers noticed that the box had been opened and when the tube of toothpaste was examined, officers found a straw inside. The straw had been burned shut on both ends, and inside were Oxymorphone and Oxycodone pills. When she delivered the toothpaste, officers photocopied Potts' driver's license so they now know who to look for. Potts is being sought on three counts possession of controlled substance as well as the introduction of contraband into a penal institution.
