Parrottsville Heritage Days
Parrottsville Heritage days kick off this evening with a chili cook-off planned for 5:30 pm. The Smith Family will sing at 6 pm and a talent show is scheduled for 7 pm. There will be food and craft vendors on site through Sunday afternoon. Also on tap are a quilt show, flower show, arts and crafts vendors, demonstrations of basket making, fabric dying, spinning and weaving, live entertainment, games for the kids and cash drawings. Saturday events include beauty pageants, a car and tractor show, there will be inflatables for children, helicopter rides and a Golden Pumpkin treasure hunt. And Bluegrass and gospel music is planned for Saturday and Sunday afternoons.
