Cocke County Jail vandalism Three Cocke County jail inmates face multiple vandalism charges following an eruption in the facility Monday evening. Deputies were called to the scene at about 7pm after the inmates became "unruly", according to Deputy Wes Keys. The inmates allegedly smashed a total of 19 food trays by beating them against the door and the phone inside their cell. Those who are charged are; Randall James Stephens, 33, Leaf Way, Newport;Ronnie Travis Samples, 29, Bogard Road, Newport and Zachary Austin Shockley, 22, Sparta, TN.
