Road rage
Cocke County authorities Friday charged two men following reports of a road rage incident on Interstate 40 at about 2:30 pm. Cocke County Sheriff Armando Fontes said a North Carolina motorist, Adam Cubelet, alleged that another eastbound motorist had brandished a weapon at him. The two vehicles had exited the interstate and then headed westbound on I-40. Cletis Severs of Alabama and Cublet were both stopped. Severs admitted he had brandished a handgun, so he was charged with reckless endangerment. Cubelet is charged with failure to exercise due care.
