Mixon sought as a fugitive
The Cocke County Sheriff's Office is looking for an inmate who escaped from The Center Of Hope Drug Rehabilitation Center in Greenville, TN. Cocke County Sheriff Armando Fontes says that Christopher Justin Mixon, 32, Fairfield Drive, Newport was court ordered to go to rehabilitation. He is serving a sentence on charges of aggravated domestic assault. "It is safe to say that rehab is not going to work for him," added the sheriff. Mixon reportedly has been spotted in Cocke County and is wanted on an escape warrant. He is described as white, with brown hair, blue eyes, weighing 160 pounds and six feet tall. Anyone who has information on the whereabouts of Mixon should contact the Cocke County Sheriff's Office at 423-623-6004, or Central Dispatch at 423-623-3064.
