TVA campgrounds are open
With spring just around the corner, the Tennessee Valley Authority’s seasonal campgrounds are ready and waiting for visitors to return to the outdoors as the 2018 camping season opens . Included are Cherokee Dam, and the Headwater and Tailwater campgrounds at Douglas Dam. Improvements made at these campgrounds in 2017 include a new online reservation system, renovated restrooms, and a new camp store at Douglas Headwater. The six TVA campgrounds hosted over 75,000 overnight stays last year.
