Foothills Parkway cleanup You can join Keep Cocke County Beautiful this Saturday, for a cleanup of the Foothills Parkway. The cleanup will begin at 10 am at the first scenic pull- off from the Cosby side. State Representative Jeremy Faison is inviting all public servants and those running for office to participate in the event. Sponsors are KCCB, Cocke County Partnership’s Tourism Office and Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Grabbers, vests and trash bags will be provided. We will meet at the first scenic turnout on the right, coming from the Cosby entrance. CCP Tourism Director Linda Lewanski is helping to coordinate the event. “Please join us!,” she said.” Many of our visitors travel this corridor and it is important that we put our best foot forward. A visitor is much more likely to return to an area that is inviting. Remember take PRIDE – personal responsibility in your designated environment.” Call KCCB at 423-623-1050 for more information.
