Reward in Sevierville pedestrian death
Tennessee Gov. Bill Haslam has announced a $2,500 reward for information leading to the apprehension, arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for the death of Cordell Breighner in Sevier County on July 15, 2017. Breighner was struck and killed by a vehicle off Old Knoxville Highway near Owenby Drive in Sevierville during the early morning hours. He was 19 years old. “We ask anyone with knowledge of the case to come forward to help bring to justice whoever is responsible for this crime,” Haslam said. Fourth Judicial District Attorney General Jimmy Dunn requested the reward from the governor in an effort to help generate information in this case. Anyone with information about the case is encouraged to contact Detective Preston Parrish of the Sevierville Police Department at 865-453-5507.
