Cole arrest
An Arizona man was arrested Friday after Cocke County deputies were called to a location on Amet Way in the Cosby community. Deputy Lt Chris Gregg said he responded to a complaint to find Amber Holland of Knoxville with a facial contusion. She reported that the male in the Jaguar, Santino Cole, 33, Phoenix, Arizona had struck her on the face with a handgun, and then pointed it at her. Officers found a handgun under the driver's seat, along with marijuana and Oxycodone. First Call EMS was called to the scene to examine Holland's facial contusion, but she did not require hospital treatment. Lt. Gregg says Cole is a convicted felon in Georgia, convicted of Third Degree Cruelty to Children and An Article with Altered ID Markings. He now faces local charges of Aggravated Assault with a Firearm, Possession of a Weapon by a Convicted Felon, Possession of Oxycodone and Marijuana, as well as Driving on a Suspended License.
