U Haul fire on I-40
A large U-Haul loaded with household furnishings was destroyed by fire Friday evening on Interstate 40 in Cocke County.     Ricky Roberts of Arkansas told Cocke County Firefighter Alex Reece that he was eastbound at 7:52 pm when he discovered the truck was on fire near the 443 exit.     "They were going down the road when it caught fire and they don't know what caused it," Reece said.     The destroyed truck was valued at $50,000 and the contents at $40,000.     Both eastbound lanes were closed for an hour while Cocke County personnel as well as Cosby Volunteer Firefighters battled the flames.
