Wood arrest
A Cocke County man wanted in connection with a number of recent burglaries was arrested on Sunday. Cocke County Deputy Lt. Chris Gregg said he arrested Logan Wood, 25, Needmore Road, Bybee in connection with recent thefts from Joseph Worley, Overlook Way, Newport; Danny Styles, Buffalo Raod, Bybee and Michael Dickerson, Tree Road, Cosby. Wood is charged with Aggravated Burglary, Conspiracy To Commit Theft, two counts Theft Over $1,000 and Theft. At the time of the Wood arrest on Rays Loop Road, Officer Gregg also arrested Brittany Lynn Reese, 26, a roommate of Wood. The woman was in possession of a needle in her car, as well as a cut straw, she was sitting on Alprazolam pills and she possessed $1,628 believed to be the proceeds from drug sales. Now Reese is charged with Tampering With Evidence, Possession Of Drug Paraphernalia and Sale And Delivery Of Narcotics.
