Terry crash
A Sunday morning single vehicle crash on Joe Reed Road at Nease Road in Cocke County, left the driver injured. Deputy Chris Barnes said the 9:55 am crash involved a 1998 Saturn operated by Jessica Terry, 35, Marshal Drive, Bybee. The driver said the roadway was slick and her auto hydroplaned, went airborne peeled bark from a tree 16 feet off the ground, went into a skid and rolled. Terry initially declined medical transport but she later said she had increased pain and was transported to the Newport Medical center for treatment of a possible wrist fracture. Officer Barnes cited Terry into court for Driving on a Revoked License.
