Walters State Safety program
The Walters State Campus Police Department will host a Safety Awareness Day at the Morristown campus today from 9 am-2 pm, and more than 20 agencies and organizations will be participating. The event is free and open to the public. Visitors can see how alcohol affects driving by wearing impairment goggles and driving a pedal car. Experience the effects of a roll-over crash with the roll-over simulator and see how important seat belts are by using the seat belt convincer. Those attending the expo will have chances to win door prizes, including seven new child safety seats.
