KCCB Recycles Day Keep Cocke County Beautiful will host its first annual “America Recycles Day” on Saturday, November 3rd from 9:00am until 1:00pm at Lowe’s Home Improvement, 120 Eply Road, Newport. The event is sponsored by E-Cyclers. It will enable Cocke County citizens and businesses to properly recycle old electronics. including TV’s, cell phones, computers, tablets, as an alternative to the landfill. Used eyeglasses also will be accepted and donated to the Newport Lion’s Club for reuse. Worn out blankets, clothes, and towels will be donated to the Newport Animal Shelter.
