Lockhart re-captured
A Jefferson County inmate who last Thursday escaped from the Moccasin Bend Mental Health Institue in Chatanooga, was re-captured Sunday by Chatanooga police, according to Jefferson County Sheriff Jeff Coffey. The Sheriff had asked the public to be on the lookout for Daniel Lockhart, 35, New Market, after the escape because, "Mr. Lockhart has a violent past and is known to carry a handgun." The subject is wanted on Jefferson County warrants charging him with a Parole violation, False Imprisonment and several Failure to Appear offenses.
