Victim remembrance
District Attorney General James B. Dunn is inviting everyone to join him for the Victims’ Tree of Remembrance, ceremony honoring the memory of victims of violent crime in the Fourth Judicial District. Gary Christian and Tina Locke Gregg will be this years guest speakers. The event is planned for Friday, December 7, 6:00 p.m. in the Sevier County Courthouse* in Sevierville. The ceremony will be in the 3rd Floor County Commission Room. Family and friends may bring an ornament to hang on the Remembrance Tree. Holston’s Restaurant is catering the meal. After this event, the decorated tree will remain on display in the Sevier County Courthouse Foyer throughout the holiday season. Law enforcement agencies from all counties in the Fourth Judicial District are also invited to attend.
