Jefferson City drug investigation
The Jefferson City Police Department counter-drug unit recently concluded a year long undercover drug investigation which resulted in Jefferson County Grand Jury presentments naming 17 individuals. Those taken into custody and the charges they face are: Steven Laws, 31, Newport, sale and delivery of methamphetamine in a drug free school zone; Jackson Marshall, 34, Talbott, two counts sale and delivery of methamphetamine; Torrey T. Allen, 37, Jefferson City, two counts sale and delivery of oxymorphone in a drug free school zone; Hubert J. Turner, 34, New Market, sale and delivery of methamphetamine; Jessica L. Britt, 32, Jefferson City, sale and delivery of a counterfeit controlled substance; Randy S. Ellsworth, 47, Jefferson City, two counts sale and delivery of methamphetamine; Amanda A. Presley, 32, Jefferson City, two counts sale and delivery of methamphetamine, and sale and delivery of alprazolam; Jason L. Lowe, 38, Pigeon Forge, sale and delivery of methamphetamine; Sherry F. Ford, 36, Cosby, sale and delivery of methamphetamine; Jessica L. Jinks, 25, Heiskell, two counts sale and delivery of methamphetamine; Amanda L. Patterson, 28, Dandridge, sale and delivery of heroin; Chase A. Maxwell, 25, Jefferson City, sale and delivery of oxymorphone; Joshua E. Tolliver, 30, Jefferson City, sale and delivery of methamphetamine; Toby W. Cate, 39, Talbott, sale and delivery of methamphetamine in a drug free school zone; Sandra R. Abbott, 51, Kodak, two counts sale and delivery of methamphetamine in a drug free school zone and Danielle N. Woods, 37, Morristown, sale and delivery of methamphetamine and alprazolam.
