Mayor Ottinger sustains a fractured arm
Cocke County Mayor Crystal Ottinger sustained a fractured arm Wednesday evening when she fell as she walked her dog. The mayor posted on her Facebook site saying, "Gypsy took off at full throttle and I wasn’t paying attention and before I could let go she had already pulled me down. I cut both my knees, my elbows and the palms of my hands. We were going downhill so that made it worse lol." Ottinger was treated at the Newport Medical Center after the incident.
