NFL draft coming to Nashville Nashville is about to take the national football spotlight, and turn into a sports lovers dream. A giant stage, stretching 460 feet across First Avenue, and three stories high will host the NFL draft. Broadway downtown is undergoing a complete makeover, and downtown honky tonks are are being turned into media stages. And if you are not a sports nut....there will be lots of entertainment including . Dierks Bentley, Tim McGraw, Rayland Baxter, Mikky Ecko and others. Nashville is taking the opportunity to show the world why it is known as Music City. Organizers say this draft, Thursday through Saturday, will be more accessible to the public than any other draft in NFL history. Access to the event and concerts are free with no tickets are required. City officials say 100,000 people a day are expected and possibly 40 million will be watching the draft on TV. Organizers hope the event will generate money for their city and attract even bigger events to town in the future.
