Cocke County art contest winners US Rep. Phil Roe, on Tuesday announced the winners of the 2019 Congressional Art Competition in the First District. First Place went to Hailey Moore of Cocke County High School, and Third Place went to Aubrey Given also of Cocke County High. In addition, Myra Amason of Cocke County High received the Art Teacher award. Said Roe, “The Congressional Art Competition is an opportunity to recognize and encourage the artistic talent across the nation. This contest inspires artistic creativity and achievement and I’m proud to see such talented high school students in the First District. Congratulations to our winners, and a special thanks to all who participated!”
