Roberts arrest
A Hamblen County woman was arrested by Newport police on Wednesday, on charges handed down in April by a Cocke County Grand Jury. Lisa Roberts, 40, Bear Springs Road, Morristown, is charged with six counts of TennCare fraud, also known as "doctor shopping". The presentment alleges that Roberts in April, May and June 2018, obtained or attempted to obtain, Lorazepam and Clonazepam from a healthcare provider and failed to di9sclose that she had received a prescription for a controlled substance of similar therapeutic use from another healthcare provider within the previous 30 days, and she used TennCare to obtain the benefits.
