Tipton is being sought
The Jefferson County Sheriffs Office is asking for assistance from the public in their search for a man who is a suspect in the theft of a truck. Sheriff Jeff Coffey said Austin Wade Tipton, 20 of Kodak is wanted for questioning in connection with the theft of a Wolf Tree Service truck from the county. He also is wanted on a probation violation charge in Sevier County. Tipton is described as 5"6" tall, weighing 160 pounds. He has blonde/strawberry hair and blue eyes. Members of the public who have information regarding the whereabouts of Tipton or who see him should contact Detective Robbie McMahan at 865-471-6000 Ext. 1109.
