Griffin arrest
Authorities in Greeneville say they have charged one man in connection with several structure and personal property fires in that city on Sunday. Brandon Joe Griffin , 27, of Greeneville is charged with with several counts of arson after fires were started on Marshall Lane. Personnel with the Greeneville Fire Department extinguished the blazes on West Main Street and Marshall Lane, and Griffin was found nearby with items believed used to start the fires. He now is charged with five counts of aggravated arson, two counts of reckless burning, one count of auto burglary, and one count of felony vandalism. Bond for Griffin is set at $250,000.
