Sexton gets 15 plus years A Cocke County man involved in a Cocke County based methamphetamine conspiracy has been sentenced to a 188 month federal prison term. Joseph Euil Sexton, 34, pleaded guilty to the sale of methamphetamine in a conspiracy that involved more than twenty local residents. It was headed up by The conspiracy was allegedly headed up by Thomas "Dax" Martin, Jr.,, 46, Old Cave Church Road, Newport and Pamela "Mom" Puckett, 38, Buford, Georgia. Sexton and his one-time girlfriend, Kristin Raelyn Heck, were allegedly in possession of two ounces of methamphetamine and 15 firearms when Ccoke County authorities executed a search warrant at their home in January 2017. Two months later, both defendants were again arrested and were found to be in possession of 44 grams of methamphetamine as well as a quantity of heroin.
