Cobble injured in farm tractor/car crash
The operator of a farm tractor was injured this morning when he was struck as he traveled on the Old Parrottsville Highway in Cocke County. Trooper Ronnie Hall said the 7:55 pm incident injured Charles Cobble, Jr., 61, of Parrottsville. Cobble was operating his Ford farm tractor south of the Parrottsville Elementary School when he was struck from behind by another southbound vehicle, a 2015 Chevrolet Suburban operated by Jessica Reed, 29, of Parrottsville. Coble was flown by medical helicopter to the UT Medical Center in Knoxville for treatment of head injuries. Reed was not injured but she was charged with violation of the due care law.
