Library grants
Tennessee Secretary of State Tre Hargett will present grants to two local libraries today. The technology grants from the Tennessee State Library and Archives are for public libraries to replace or purchase technology, including computers, software, networking hardware or peripherals. The Friends of Jefferson City Library will receive a $6,856.00 technology grant, and the Parrottsville Community Library will receive a $6,379.00 technology grant. The State Library and Archives will award more than $350,000 in technology grants across the state in 2019 and 2020.
