The project is part of an effort to encourage volunteerism in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Day. - a cleanup of the Douglas Lake bottoms is planned for March 17. - on April 4, Myers Diversified on East Highway 25/70 will host a recycling event accepting electronics, hazardous household waste and other re-usable items.
