Cocke voting Josh Blanchard, Cocke County Administrator of Elections, says Cocke County voters have only two more days to cast a ballot in Early Voting for the Super Tuesday Presidential Primary. Tuesday will be the last day for Early Voting. Early Voting is open late, 8:30 a.m. until 6 p.m. both today and Tuesday at the election commission office in the Courthouse Annex. Voters must choose either the Republican Primary or Democratic Primary. Election Day (Super Tuesday) is March 3, voting hours will be 9:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. at all precincts in Cocke County. Sample ballots are online at CockeCountyElection.org and in the election office. There is only one county office on the ballot in the Republican primary, and it's uncontested. ANGIE RAY SHELTON the incumbent is running for re-election for Assessor of Property. The last day for the election commission office to receive a signed request for an Absentee By-Mail ballot is Tuesday, Feb. 25. Call the election commission office for information or download a form online at CockeCountyElection.org. Voter turnout so far: 1,374 people have voted in the primaries through Saturday.
