MEDIC needs blood MEDIC is continuing to urge the public to make donations during the coronavirus pandemic. The agency has had 85 drives cancel with an estimated loss of over 2500 products in March and April alone. Donors at the four donor centers and all mobile drives will be seen by appointment only until further notice. The move will allow donors to follow the 6’ recommendations for distance from others, and will also allow donor flow to be smooth and reduce wait times. A Temporary Inside Mobile Drive has been established at Morristown Utilities, 441 West Main, Morristown, TN 37814. The drive beginning today, will continue through Friday, April 11, 9 am to 6 pm and on Saturdays 8 am to 2 pm This location will see donors by appointment only. Donors should call 865-524-3074 or go online to schedule an appointment.
