McBride mower injury
For the second time in a week, a Cocke Countian has been injured in a lawnmower accident. Chris McBride was mowing the lawn of his neighbor in the Irish Cut community on Thursday when his mower rolled off an embankment, landing on top of him. Passing motorists assisted McBride by getting the mower off of him and helping him to his home. Family members later took the injured man to the Newport Medical Center and he later was transferred to the UT Medical Center in Knoxville for treatment of head, lung and rib injuries. McMcBride's condition has not been released.
